(Patsy Mink) Chloe Madriaga is a multi-hyphenate artist originally from Maui, HI. She is beyond stoked to be working with East West Players to share Patsy Mink’s incredible story. She was recently seen onstage in The Bauhaus Project at Open Fist Theatre Company and Kill Shelter at Theatre of NOTE, where she is a proud company member. (Patsy Mink) Pauline is a successful commercial actress and award winning stand-up comedian. You can see her in ads for VW, Google, State Farm, and Avocados from Mexico, to name a few. Her comedy, featured on Laugh After Dark, has racked up over 3 million views. She was also a finalist in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition in 2019. She can also be seen in music videos from Sabrina Carpenter and the Foo Fighters. She also voiced the dual roles of Barbara/Aurora for Silent Hill: Ascension.

(John Mink, Principal, Housing Official, Law Professor, Citizen 1) In the world of theater, Andrew has taken on classic roles such as Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath (Prospect Theater Project), Damis is Tartuffe (Gallo Center for the Arts), Kinesias in Lysistrata (Michael Lynch), Bernard in Death of a Salesman (Prospect Theater Project), and many more. Recently, Andrew played the lead in the award-winning short FIXATION as well as in the feature Slashlorette Party (Available to stream on Amazon Prime). He also stars in two hilarious web series, Forever-A-Clone and Tiny House, from Matte Black Productions available on YouTube. You can also see him on TV in Dave, Hacks, and The Last Gasp as well as in various commercials (Google Pixel, Lets Disco, Lullyboo). Next up, see Andrew as John Mink in East West Players newest production, Patsy. He is a proud student of Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), Ivana Chubbuck Studios, VoicePrint West, Stan Zimmerman, and RD Studios.

(John Mink, Principal, Housing Official, Law Professor, Citizen 1) William is an actor, director, and teacher. Recent credits include: Film/TV: Flash Marriage, Inside Oxide, True Story: Don’t Drown. Theatre: Lady Percy in Muse of Fire (Foolish Production Co.), Zach in Auditioning for Your Life (Fierce Backbone), Alex in A Bright New Boise (Momentum Theatre Co.), and Mike in Memory of Water (Actor’s Company). Directing: Problem Child (Blue Sky Theatre Co.), Is Krishna There? (Hollywood Fringe Festival Splash Award Recipient). Training: BA in Theatre and Economics from Willamette University, and post-graduate training from the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio. He also does ongoing training with Actor Circle Theater.

(Kailani, Gwen, Martha) Julia Dimayuga is a Filipino American actress and writer from Los Angeles, CA. She is very excited to make her theatre acting debut with the legendary East West Players. Julia graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in Film & TV. She wore many hats throughout her career and has performed in a few short films.

(Kailani, Gwen, Martha) Kimie Fujioka was born and raised on O'ahu, Hawai'i. She is a recent graduate from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) where she earned a BA in Musical Theatre and minors in Dance and Arts Entrepreneurship. Kimie has performed in numerous musical theatre productions, including In the Heights, which earned her a Po'okela Award for 'Best Actress In A Musical'. Other significant works include Kaiser Permanente’s Peace Signs,where she had the opportunity to share the message of bullying with youth throughout Hawai’i, and her work as a featured dancer with Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble. Kimie is beyond grateful for the opportunity to perform with East West Players. She would like to thank John, Larry, Julia, and the entire cast and artistic team for all their beautiful work on this important story.

(Playwright) Alison Minami holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts from UC Riverside. She has participated in the playwrights labs at Company of Angels, Antaeus Theatre, East West Players, and the Road Theatre. Her play Voir Dire has had professionally staged readings at East West Players and Company of Angels. Her play Face to the Sun has had readings at the Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation, East West Players, Victory Gardens Theater, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Her play Sinkhole was a semifinalist for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival and the Princess Grace Award for 2023. Her play Dear Baby X was chosen for the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights’ New Works Reading, and her play Urban Scholars was a semifinalist for the Ashland New Play Festival. Her one-act play Shizzy's Story was produced by Enrichment Works and toured across LAUSD schools. She is a blogger for the Los Angeles Female Playwrights Initiative. She teaches writing at the University of Southern California.

(Director) John Miyasaki is a LA based actor/director. As an actor, John has been seen at the Mark Taper Forum, East West Players, The Hollywood Bowl, The Alley Theater (Houston), South Coast Rep, The Getty, LATC. He is currently the Artistic Director of hereandnow theatre company and past Associate Artistic Director of Company of Angels, where he directed Wind Chimes and LA Views.John also served as the assistant director on the Boston Court production of The Golden Dragon and participated as a director in the reading series of the USC Master Playwriting Program. Other directing credits: R & J Pinoy/Pinay Style, Innocent When You Dream (Smithsonian Institution), Circus of Winter Dreams (The Rosenthal Theater), Re-Generation: Taiko Project (The Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts), Letters to a Student Revolution (Keck Theater) Fentor (LA Weekly Pick of the Week), Brahmin and the Tiger (Ovation Award Nominee).

(Assistant Director) Larry Steve Mayorquin is an alumnus of the Department of Theatre and New Dance at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where he earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts with an Emphasis in Education and Community. He currently serves as the Education and Community Manager at East West Players where he oversees the Professional Enrichment program, volunteers, and works on the Theatre for Youth tour. Some previous directing credits include Caminos: A Mother’s Journey (Pick of the Fringe, Producer’s Encore Award, Scholarship Recipient, and Best Drama nominee) , Rudolph The Red-nosed Reindeer: The Musical, Heathers: The Musical, ELF: The Musical . He is thankful for the opportunity to assistant direct Patsy and to be a part of telling this important, and too often overlooked story.

He is so proud to be working on a show that helps uplift Asian voices, and hopes that it can inspire children to have a newfound appreciation for the performing arts.

(Stage Manager) Julia Hibner is is a graduate from California Polytechnic State University Pomona with her BA in Theatre. Her recent stage management experiences include Pascal & Julien (24th Street Theatre), Ada Twist Scientists and Friends (TheaterWorksUSA), Alternate Endings (The Echo Theatre Company), Sama Sama: Solidarity in the Fields (East West Players). She is passionate about playing a part in creating the change we want to see in theatre and everything in between. She is so delighted to return back to East West Players for another Theatre For Youth production!

(Costumer Designer) Erika Mae Martin is a freelance costume designer and Local 705 costumer. She graduated from Academy of Art University in 2019 with an MFA in Costume Design. In 2016, she graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S. in Apparel Merchandising and Management and an option in Production, along with a minor in Theatre, specializing in Tech/Costume Design. Theatre credits include productions for the Cutting Ball Theatre and Custom Made Theatre in San Francisco, the Southern California Shakespeare Festival, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State LA, UC Santa Cruz, and Academy of Art University. Erika also works in film and television, commercials, and fashion editorials. Patsy is her first collaboration with East West Players’ Theatre for Youth.

(Scenic/Properties Designer) Audrey Szot is so excited to be a part of this production! Her works include scenic designer for Proof (2022), Julius Caesar (2022), The Tempest (2022), Becky Shaw (2023), Big Fish (2023), Hyannis (2023), and Troilus and Cressida (2024) all at Loyola Marymount University, as well as Scenic Apprentice on Our Dear Dead Drug Lord (2023) at Center Theatre Group, scenic designer for Shrek Jr (2024) with Casa 0101, and for Chekhov in Shorts (2024) with Long Beach Shakespeare Company.
