East West Players has a variety of spaces and resources that will fill any of your production needs! From rehearsals to performances, weddings to classes, East West Players has a studio space at its work shop as well as the Historic David Henry Hwang Theatre located in Little Tokyo. Do you need props, costumes or theatrical scenery? East West Players sports a complete properties and costume shop as well as a full-service scenic shop which is available for hire.

David Henry Hwang Theater
In 1998, EWP Artistic Director Tim Dang led the company’s move from a 99-seat Equity Waiver “black box” theatre into a new 230-seat venue, the David Henry Hwang Theater, housed within the historic Union Center for the Arts in downtown Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo district.

Costume Rental
East West Players has a costume inventory of over 3,500 pieces. Measurements are kept on file and alterations are always available upon request. The Costume Shop rents full costume sets, small or specialized plots, and individual costumes to suit any need.
Prop & Scenery Rental
East West Players has an 850 sq ft warehouse stocked with props and furniture that would be great for your next show or film shoot. Many of our items are authentic Japanese pieces. We will rent you a small chair or a whole truck full of pieces!
Scene Shop
The East West Players Scene Shop, located in downtown Los Angeles is a fully-equipped facility. The technical staff consists of designers, painters, carpenters and riggers—all trained to the highest level of expertise. Aside from fulfilling your rental needs with our pre-made scenic furniture and prop stock, our shop staff are fully capable of fulfilling all of your design, wood-working, painting and rigging needs. We specialize in making your design visions come to life from a trade show display, 99 seat house, themed environmental installations to large multi locations productions.
