The Production Manager is responsible for supervising all logistical aspects of production and facilities to ensure top quality productions.

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall operation and progress of mainstage production and the facilities and production shops. With the Assistant Production Manager and Technical Director and other departments, the Production Manager helps to plan long-range strategies for production, facilities, and operation. With the managing director, this position sees to the employment and safety of creative and technical personnel according to union standards, contracts, and industry standards. This position is the direct report for the Audio/Visual and Lighting Supervisor and helps to ensure safety standards in operations and equipment.

The operation and duties of the Production Manager can be divided into three areas:

1)    Production Administration

2)    Facility and Theater Rental Management

3)    Technical Direction

The General Manager (GM) is a key operational leader responsible for financial management, audience services, technology maintenance, rental management, and facilities operations.

This role ensures the smooth execution of EWP’s daily operations and serves as an assistant to the Artistic Director (AD) and Managing Director (MD) as needed. The GM supports the MD in HR-related activities but is primarily responsible for payroll and accounts payable, audience services, technology maintenance, and facility management.
