Reporting to the Managing Director, this individual will take initiative, operate autonomously, and set the direction for the organization’s public brand and communications. They will lead external communications, shape the organization’s image, and ensure that marketing strategies align with EWP’s mission to promote social justice, equity, and the Asian Pacific American experience. This role requires a results-oriented professional with live event experience and a track record of generating ticket sales and building a compelling brand.

The Production Manager is responsible for supervising all logistical aspects of production and facilities to ensure top quality productions.

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall operation and progress of mainstage production and the facilities and production shops. With the Assistant Production Manager and Technical Director and other departments, the Production Manager helps to plan long-range strategies for production, facilities, and operation. With the managing director, this position sees to the employment and safety of creative and technical personnel according to union standards, contracts, and industry standards. This position is the direct report for the Audio/Visual and Lighting Supervisor and helps to ensure safety standards in operations and equipment.

The operation and duties of the Production Manager can be divided into three areas:

1)    Production Administration

2)    Facility and Theater Rental Management
