COVID-19 Policy
We are committed to your safety and comfort at all East West Players shows and events. Our artists, volunteers, audiences, and staff are following all Los Angeles City and County requirements and guidelines, and in most cases, exceeding them.
All of our requirements and guidelines for audiences will be communicated well in advance of events. Our policy and procedures are subject to change in accordance with fluctuating local, state, and federal guidelines.
Vaccination for COVID-19 is strongly recommended

Policies

All artists, staff, and volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the date of their first visit. “Fully vaccinated” is defined by 14 days after your final vaccine dose, 2 shots for Moderna and 1 shot for Johnson & Johnson. Booster shots are not required but highly recommended.

CDPH Digital Vaccination Record
Healthvana (Mobile Wallet)
Carbon Health COVID-19 Health Pass

Staff and volunteers are recommended to wear facial masks that cover their mouth and nose when not actively eating or drinking.
Cloth, surgical and KN95 masks are all acceptable. Masks with exhalation valves, gaiters, bandanas, scarves, etc. are not permitted. Face shields will not be accepted as mask substitutes.

Patrons who do not comply with our policy will not be admitted.
Continual disregard and violation of our policies will cause ejection from the event.

We ask that any patron who is feeling ill, has exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 in the previous 14 days, or has been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days to please stay home and utilize our ticket exchange or refund options for paid events.
A limited amount of personal protection equipment is available to patrons to use during the event.
Patrons are subject to visual screening for COVID symptoms in accordance with ADA and CDC guidelines.
Attendance and documentation are kept for contact tracing.
Social distancing is included in all event designs and will be encouraged and monitored by event staff. Patrons are expected to follow directions of event staff to maintain social distancing.
Signage indicating instructions and COVID compliance is posted throughout the event.
Hand sanitizing stations are provided throughout the event.
High touch surfaces are regularly sanitized.

All artists and staff are required to present vaccination records and a negative COVID PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event if an exposure has occurred.
Volunteers and front of house staff are required to take rapid tests and display a negative result to begin their shift if an exposure has occurred.
Temperature checks and health screenings are conducted for everyone working the event if an exposure has occurred.
Personal Protection Equipment is provided for everyone working the event as requested.
Areas used by artists, staff, and volunteers are assigned to limit crossover and maintain social distancing.
