Auditions will be held in Newhall, CA

DESCRIPTION
HOPE Theatre Arts is auditioning for the play "Yellow Face" by Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang, directed by Susan Fletcher. "Yellow Face" is a semi-autobiographical satire, a comedy of mistaken racial identity and the ever-changing definition of what it is to be an American. It is a farce about the complexities of race, the New York theatre world, and the playwright's relationship with his father.

DATES

Eight performances will be presented at The Main in Newhall running Friday, Saturday, Sunday, opening Nov 15th through Dec 1st. Rehearsals in Newhall will run Wednesday and Friday evenings plus Saturday mornings starting September 15th.

UNION STATUS

This is a non-union production. As an all- volunteer organization, we do not offer monetary remuneration.

ROLES

Casting for various parts, male and female, ages young adult through middle age and senior. Especially in need of Asian actors.
