PROJECT TITLE: SEAMLESS

SYNOPSIS OR PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Workshop of full length play about modern Japanese American family dynamics in consideration of WWII Japanese American internment/incarceration, written by Dr. Dorinne Kondo. Play is fantastic, funny, poignant, important. 5 rehearsals (2 weeks), tech (1 week), 4 script-in-hand performances (4 weekend dates between Sept 22 and October 16).

PAY: NONE

TIME COMMITMENT (Rehearsals, Performance or Shoot Dates): Up to 5 rehearsals (2 weeks, Sept 3-17), up to 3 tech days (1 week, Sept 18-21), 4 script-in-hand performances (4 weekend dates between Sept 22 and October 16)

CHARACTER: KEN KUBOTA: Late 70s, father of Diane Kubota, husband of Masako Kubota, retired physician, energetic, opinionated, born in United States, was confined in American concentration camp during WWII, west coast American accent, also has short monologue in foppish British accent
